We then head to Cherchell, once known as Caesarea, the capital of Roman Mauretania. Next, we continue to the Roman Archaeological Site of Tipaza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. After a brief introduction to the history of the ancient city, we explore its most important landmarks, including the gladiator arena, Roman temples, the Cardo Maximus and Decumanus Maximus, elegant residential villas, Roman baths, and the remains of the ancient garum production workshop.
